My State

North Carolina is a state of great importance. One of the reasons it is important is because it is now classified as a swing state. It being a swing state makes it crucial to the election because the electoral votes could go either way instead of being somewhat predetermined. Another reason North Carolina is important is because it has a sizable amount of natural gas off it's shores. This natural gas could be tapped into to lower the price of gas. The problem lies in the potential environmental effects and the ruining of N.C. beautiful coast. Which ever candidate sides with the beauty instead of the prices is likely to win N.C.
